Project Overview
The challenge was to create a captivating brand identity and digital interface for a new spoken word poetry event. With the objective of creating an immersive experience that fosters genuine connections and emotional involvement among attendees, this project aims to create a welcoming and encouraging platform for artistic expression.
The Problem
Existing event websites lack a cohesive visual identity and fail to effectively engage users, resulting in a disconnect between the event's brand and its digital presence.

Design Frame
How might we create a visually compelling and user-friendly digital interface that reflects the unique essence of a spoken word poetry event while fostering genuine connections and emotional engagement among attendees?

Solution
Implementing a cohesive design system grounded in Atomic Design principles, we will create a visually compelling desktop landing page that embodies the emotive essence of spoken word poetry. By carefully curating typography, colour palettes, imagery, and interactive components, we aim to foster genuine connections and emotional engagement among users, inviting them to explore the event with warmth and encouragement.
Research
This audit provided invaluable insights, guiding subsequent design decisions with a compassionate understanding of the cafe's identity.
Mood Board
Crafting the mood board was about capturing the visual essence that would embody the warmth and welcome of Échos du coeur. Curating images, colours, and typography allowed a visual narrative that speaks directly to the heart of the events atmosphere.
Design System
The design system serves as a guiding light, steering the project with clarity and consistency. It encapsulates a palette, typography guidelines, and UI components, facilitating efficient collaboration and iteration.
