Project Overview
The challenge was to create a viable mobile application addressing a specific problem highlighted in a documentary film. Inspired by "Seaspiracy," this project identified the lack of awareness and accessibility to sustainable seafood choices, which contributes to overfishing and environmental degradation. In response, GreenHarbour was developed to provide comprehensive information on sustainable fishing methods, fishery locations, and seafood sustainability ratings. This app not only educates users but also encourages sustainable living practices.

Research on GreenHarbour's features identified user needs for distinguishing sustainable fishing methods and verifying seafood labels. This led to developing the Fishing Method Guide and Label Verification Tool, effectively promoting eco-conscious decisions and building trust in seafood sustainability.

The User Persona revealed essential user needs and behaviours, guiding the creation of targeted features. These insights ensured the app effectively addressed real user pain points, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction
